Nikki Cox Biography

Currently she stars in her own show "Nikki.". This unique take on the American Dream set against the bright lights and unlimited optimisim of the Las Vegas strip. Nikki and her husband Dwight (newcomer Nick von Esmarch) came to Las Vegas straight out of of high school to pursue their ultimate dreams: to become a showgirl and a professional wrestler, respectively.

Opening with big-production dance numbers each week, Nikki was created by Veteran comedy writer and Peabody Award-winning executive producer Bruce Helford, along with Deborah Oppenheimer ("Drew," "Norm") and Bob Myer ("Cybill," "Rosanne") for Warner Brothers Television.

She appeared in the movie The Nutty Professor II - The Klumps and played "Taylor" on the ABC Norm show.

Five years she portrayed the drop-dead gorgeous and extremely intelligent 20-year-old Tiffany Malloy, the middle child of the Malloy clan, who's decided to save her virginity "for some wrinkled old wheeze bag with a ton of money and a month to live" in the sitcom Unhappily Ever After. "Tiffany is self-absorbed, but she's also very smart. She always finds the opportunity to get what she wants. She also likes to use her sex appeal as power over her peers," Cox says.

At the age of four she wanted to be in show business. At 9, she was dancing professionally. Discovered by a prominent dance agent while attending classes, which led to her professional debut on the comedy film Mac and Me.

Dancing temporarily held center stage with appearances in Michael Jackson's Moonwalker; a Los Angeles Music Center Ballet Tour; The Joffrey Ballet; Paula Abdul's music video Forever Your Girl; The MTV Awards and The Arsenio Hall Show.

At age 10, Cox won her first speaking part guest-starring in Mama's Family. Her other television credits include Star Trek: The Next Generation, Night Court, Murphy Brown, California Dreams, Eerie, Indiana, Webster, Baywatch, The Second Half, The Nanny and Boy Meets World. Cox also had starring roles in the made-for-television movies The Ryan White Story and the sci-fi thriller The Presence. She was also a series regular on NBC's Someone Like Me. She played Gina Cates, Jagger Cates' long- lost sister on ABC's General Hospital for two years. At 14, she gave up dance for acting.

On the big screen, Cox was featured in the Steven Seagal/Keenen Ivory Wayans stared The Glimmer Man and appeared in the box-office hit Terminator 2.

Currently, Nikki lives in Los Angeles with her dogs (Two Maltese, one Yorkshire Terrier named Sid Vicious), will soon be married to Bobcat Goldthwait.
