This movie is hilarious. I expected it to be
bad...but I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. You
really must go see this movie just for a good laugh...but
take a friend. A friend is necessary to fully enjoy the movie
by making fun of it.
It's hard to believe that anyone could take
this movie seriously. But, apparently the other four people
in the movie theater with my friends and I were taking it
VERY seriously. So, during those oh-so-serious-moments try
to keep your laughter to yourself...personally I couldn't
contain myself.
I suppose you could go to see the special effects...or
Asia Argento being hot...or
Vin Diesel saving the world...but, I would have to say that
the script is the most entertaining part. It has such niffty
inventions like the death-o-meter--that senses when the death
has left the room, and such likely events like riding a motorcycle
and suddenly jumping it 200 feet in the air over a flaming
building without a ramp, and such touching moments showing
you statues and children in foreign countries as to make you
suddenly attached to the place before it explodes...it gets
better and better as the film goes on.
So...
It was a bad movie with a big budget and big names with lots
of big explosions, but, it made me laugh...
