School of Rock is one of the best movies I have seen in a
long time. I would be surprised if someone didn't like this
movie. It had me laughing the whole time, right through the
end of the credits.
This is one of those movies that could have gone terribly
wrong in so many ways, but managed to do everything just right
and made a rock band of 10 year old prodigies all found in
one classroom completely feasible and very funny.
I think Jack Black was just the right amount of over the
top in this roll. He really put out a lot of energy and went
all out. He brought us comedy from every angle throughout
the movie, while also getting the opportunity to display his
musical talent. Speaking of musical talent...
The kids in this movie were amazing. Most of them really
are prodigies they recruited for the movie...which just makes
the whole thing that much more entertaining.
Go see this movie today. Yeah, yeah, work, appointments,
sleep, blah blah blah, fork up the eight bucks and enjoy for
a couple of hours.
