According to other reviews I've read, I am in
the minority group of people who actually liked this movie.
I actually really liked this movie. The direction, script,
and cinematography, was all very well done. How could you
go wrong when the writer of Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs,
(Roger Avary), directed, produced, and wrote the screenplay?
Many of the reviews complain of not liking the
characters, and that the movie has too much sex and drugs
and not enough plot. My goodness. How do you please these
people? Sex, drugs and minimal plot is what keeps us monkey
Americans interested. And since when are you supposed to love
every character to make it a good movie? Paaahleeeeze. Just
because it isn't about beautiful topics/people/events doesn't
mean it wasn't a beautiful movie. It was a piece of art. Humorous
art with great cinematography and lots of nudity.
Ohhhhh yeeeeaahhh...
I'm guessing that these reviewers aren't very
fun people to hang out with. You'd probably be constantly
wondering when they were going to dig out those big fat trees
and un-obstruct their asses.
Screw them. It was a great movie.
